OUR POLICIES
Constitution, Governance & Policy Framework Summary
Mariners United Sporting Club CIC (MUSC) is a registered Community Interest Company governed by a Board of Directors, including a Secretary, and operates in accordance with its constitution, with an Annual General Meeting held each year. Sub-groups and programmes, including Kabaddi for All, operate within MUSC’s overarching governance, safeguarding and financial management framework. Kabaddi for All functions as an unincorporated group under MUSC, with its own constitution, committee structure and operational autonomy, while financial responsibility, safeguarding oversight and compliance with organisational policies remain with MUSC. The programme is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive and supportive sporting environment for neurodivergent individuals, particularly those with autism, promoting social interaction, trust and teamwork through Kabaddi. Governance is delivered through an elected committee supported by safeguarding officers, coaches, parents and carers, with clear procedures for membership, meetings, fundraising, conduct and accountability, ensuring transparency, participant welfare and alignment with MUSC’s community-focused objectives.
