Representing strength, unity, and cultural pride, the Grizzlies provide a powerful platform for youth and adults to engage in this fast-paced, contact team sport. With its fierce spirit and inclusive ethos, the club empowers participants from all backgrounds to train, compete, and build lasting bonds—on and off the mat.

As a proud club affiliated with the England Kabaddi Association, Hartlepool Grizzlies is leading the way in growing grassroots Kabaddi across the North East. From partnering with the Manchester Kabaddi Academy to support youth development and coaching collaboration, to actively participating in official England Kabaddi Tryouts and offering our players a clear pathway to national recognition, the Grizzlies are committed to building the sport from the ground up. We also made history by co-hosting the North East’s first-ever Kabaddi taster session in Hartlepool, introducing the sport to new communities across Teesside and County Durham. These initiatives reflect our core mission: to create inclusive, high-quality opportunities for players of all backgrounds while fostering regional pride and sporting excellence.
